The Knox County Fair is kicking off Monday with a big celebration—Illinois' oldest fair is turning 175 this year and adding fireworks to the festivities along with the returning rodeo. If you're looking for weekend fun before the fair opens, the Monmouth Flying Club is hosting their Fourth of July fly-in breakfast, and there's an ice cream social coming to the Strom Center on July 9th with ice cream, cake, pie, and live music.
