BULLETIN
A serious crash on Respass Beach Road has left one person dead and another critically injured, while the area braces for scattered showers and thunderstorms today with highs around 75°F. A heat advisory remains in effect for Eastern North Carolina through Sunday evening following what was the hottest Fourth of July on record for the Hampton Roads area. Local farmers are hoping the incoming rain will help with corn pollination, though conditions should improve to partly cloudy skies later today.
